The Vikings
by Curtis P5
We went to see the Vikings in the library. There were Norwegian Vikings and Irish Vikings. They showed us swords, shields and pocket knives. The Vikings ate sausages and elk. They let us try a bit, but it wasn’t nice. The Vikings had a horn full of water it smelt like socks. The Vikings let my friend wear a chain mail, it was three stone. They taught us how to fight. I held a sword it was cool my friend hit one of the Vikings over the head with a stick.
The Vikings were class and one was very tall, he eats 3 children a day. I thought it was very good.

Space Poem
by Amy Leigh Murray
I am flying through space at night,
Over the moon and stars,
It is easier to travel here,
Because there are no cars.
The moon is up above me,
The earth is far below,
I have the stars to guide me,
To where I want to go.
It is so very quiet here,
You cannot hear a sound,
The only time you hear a noise,
Is when you hit the ground.
