"Seek, Serve and Follow Christ"
The Girls' Brigade is a Christian youth organisation for girls of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. A varied programme of fun activities is offered, designed to educate, challenge and inspire young girls in a safe environment of Christian teaching. The programme is split into 4 main areas: Spiritual, Physical, Educational & Service
It is our aim to provide a safe and secure environment for girls to achieve these aims and therefore in line with government legislation our company has a child protection policy, the details of which can be obtained from either the Captain or the Chaplain.
In each section we will cover a programme of activities suitable for the age group. ( Girls under the age of 3 can no longer be accepted in the Girls Brigade however a girl may join the company the Monday following her third birthday as long as she is able to take part in the activities (e.g. Do This Do That, Singing Games) and visit the toilet by herself).
