Magnus Barelegs Viking Festival 2007 - International Yard of Ale Competition

 

International Yard of Ale Competition

First held in 2005 as part of the Strangford Race Week the International Yard of Ale Competition, in 2007 it is being introduced as part of the Magnus Barelegs Festival.

In 2005 there were some amazing times:

Can you compete?

This time there will be separate competitions for Men and Women.

The competition will be held at the Dufferin Arms at 8pm on Friday 18th May. Irish Stew will be available for at a modest price.

The competition is being sponsored by two local companies. Beer will be provided by the Strangford Lough Brewing Company and Cider (by special request of Lynne Keech, Nationwide) by the Armagh Cider Company.
