Boat race print is launched

The annual boat race will also herald the launch of a limited edition print by Joanna Martin.

The beautifully detailed print depicts the route of Magnus' voyages and tells some of the story of how he became the most famous Viking in Co. Down.

Festival official, Mr. John Huddleston, said each year, organisers need to raise funds to run the event and explained the print, in tandem with two planned Magnus Parties, will play an important part in that.

The treasurer of the Killyleagh Social Partnership said the print will be on sale at Delamont Country Park on Saturday and at the races in Killyleagh on Sunday priced, £15.

Mr. Huddleston has also announced that a new combined ticket for the two Magnus parties will cost £20.
