"...anyway all I can say (and I'm sure I speak for everybody) is that we had the most brilliant time in Killyleagh, from the time we arrived to when we left. I hope you continue with the boat race for many years to come and when is next years race so we can book time off to come over."

"The whole town made us feel welcome and very much at home, going as far as inviting us into their homes to use showers etc. I have spent the last few days telling everybody who will listen about Killyleagh and very much look forward to returning next year if not before, when even more teams will be competing."

"At the beginning I was quite nervous as this was my debut, as I've never took part in a parade or set foot in a rowing boat before!!
My nerves soon settled down as the large crowd urged us on and clapped away. Despite the competition between the mixed teams and the colourful fancy dress, we all felt as one.
Thank you to everyone who helped organise such a great successful weekend and role on next year !!"
Kerry Reynolds
"It'd better if you don't move your head ... but you still have to move your eyes" "I'm F***ing Freezing" "Look a Portaloo!" - we now navigate / give directions by Portaloos rather than pubs! "Mind the cow pat" "That was fantastic" "What are you drinking?" "Did you get any sleep?" "Are you awake?" "Have you smelt my vest?"
Tessa Fisher BScMRICS
"Parade was fabulous, really enjoyed it from a grandstand seat in the Dufferin Arms."
Trevor Leedham
"Fab, fun, f***ing knackered. Can't wait for next year."
